Position: Part time External Sales Consultant (telephone-based selling)
Based: To operate from own home/premises Hours: 09.00-17.30, minimum three days/week (negotiable)
Overview of the role
- Responsible for generating new business contacts which are not in our database
- Responsible for telephoning existing customer base to offer additional products and services
- Setting up and attending appointments with existing and prospective customers.
- Sales take place in face-to-face meetings with clients and on the telephone.
- Reporting to the Managing Director
Candidate Profile
- Education, Experience and skills required
- An O Level Standard of education
- Experience as Telephone Sales Representative in a direct customer-facing environment
- Proven success in cold calling/new business/lead generation environment
- Must be able to work alone or with minimal supervision
- Must have good PC Skill using Internet, Excel, Word
Remuneration
- Commission based on a %age of sales

Position: Tied Insurance Intermediary
Based: To operate from own home/premises Hours: 09.00-17.30, minimum three days/week (negotiable) Overview of the role
- Provision of Life Insurance planning advice to new and existing clients.
- Keeping track of client portfolios and advising accordingly,
- Keeping in regular contact with clients by sustaining a healthy post-sales relationship and conducting research in order to develop new client relationships.
Candidate profile
- Tertiary level of education
- Proficiency in MS Office, including office automation software packages.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in dealing with clients, associates, suppliers and colleagues.
Remuneration
- Monthly salary and lucrative commission based on a %age of sales
