The distinguished
surname England is one of the most
notable Anglo/Saxon surnames, and
its historical trail has emerged
from the mists of time to become
an influential surname of the middle
ages and of the present day.
The
parent company William J. England & Son was formed in
1906 and was chaired by William
J. England. The activities of the
company mainly focused on importation
of goods however during the years
that followed other activities
were being executed and insurance
was a priority. In January 1991
the company branched into a new
sector, that of IT & Telecommunications.
Prior to the local insurance legislation
enacted in 1981 the Company represented
various foreign reputable Principals
and following such legislation
England Insurance Agency Ltd was
formed and chaired by Henry Paul
England. As from May 1994 the Company
was granted a licence to act as
agents for Middle Sea Insurance
Co. Ltd.
